What to pay attention to when producing Silicone Daily Necessities

1. If the temperature is too high when processing Silicone Daily Necessities, cracks will occur around the parting surface, which is especially obvious for thick workpieces. This is caused by excessive internal stress due to expansion during the vulcanization process. In this case, the temperature of the mold should be lowered.
2. Compared with natural rubber, solid silicone can quickly fill the cavity. But in order to avoid and reduce the formation of bubbles and other impurities, the injection speed should be reduced. The pressure holding process should be set for a relatively short time and small pressure. Too high or too long holding pressure will produce backflow recesses around the gate.
3. For silicone rubber with peroxide vulcanization system, the vulcanization time is equivalent to that of fluorine rubber or EPDM rubber, while for platinum silica gel, the vulcanization time can be shortened by 70%.

4. It is strictly forbidden to use mold release agents containing silica gel. Otherwise, even slight silica gel contamination will cause mold sticking.
